Choco Pie Macaron Sandwich


For 6 Choco-Pie Macarons

Ingredients:

  • 14 Orion Choco-Pies: 12 for macarons, 2 for crumble
  • 1/2 cup buttercream
  • 1 tbsp melted white chocolate

Process:

  1. Using a piping bag, add a generous amount of buttercream on one Choco-Pie
  2. Cover this with another Choco-Pie
  3. Drizzle some strings of melted white chocolate on the top of the macaron
  4. Now sprinkle some Choco-Pie crumble on the top
  5. Refrigerate for 5 min
  6. Resist no more- these cute yet premium treats!

For Buttercream:

Ingredients:

  1. ½ cup softened butter
  2. 1 tsp vanilla
  3. 1 cup icing sugar (sifted)

Process:

  1. In a bowl add softened butter and beat it for 4-5 minutes at high speed until it becomes pale and fluffy.
  2. In the same bowl, add in vanilla and mix this in as well
  3. Add in half of your sifted icing sugar. Turn the mixer on at low speed first and then beat it for a minute or so at high speed. Make sure all the sugar is nicely combined
  4. Add in the remaining icing sugar, and repeat the same process
  5. Scrape the sugar from the sides of the bowl and make sure everything is well incorporated
